What is covered
When you unlock a full VIN Passport ($39 single report, Shopper Pack credit, or Garage Pro access), we refund that report's purchase price if the report failed to show a salvage, flood, junk, rebuilt, theft or similar title brand that was present in the licensed title feed for that VIN at the time of purchase.
What is not covered
Accidents, repairs, odometer fraud, listing prices, market valuation, recalls, or any fact not returned by the licensed title feed. The VIN Grade is not a condition score and is not covered by this guarantee. Vendor outages or quota limits that leave a title check as “not checked” are not a missed brand.
How to claim
Open the unlocked report, use “File a guarantee claim” in the guarantee section, and describe the brand you found. We review claims in the admin queue and issue a Stripe refund when approved. One claim per purchased report.
